Lochalsh is a sparsely populated area - most services are available, but not in all villages.

Kyle of Lochalsh is the largest village and has a doctor, dentist, vet, banks, post office, leisure centre, tourist information and various other shops and restaurants. Elsewhere there is a ferry to Isle of Skye at Glenelg, National Trust for Scotland visitor centre, petrol stations, and boat trips etc.
